KATE'S SKINCARE TIPS FOR NEW MOMS

Becoming a new mom has been the scariest, most anxiety-inducing event of my life–with the greatest pay off!  Simplicity is a new best friend and skincare will always be a priority in my life, even if the routine changes to suit my new role as Mama to Della. Now that I have a baby and these life changing experiences, I think back on my recommendations to new Moms and shake my head. 

With limited sleep and time to myself, I’m grabbing these products: 

At age 39, sleep-deprived doesn’t look good on my skin. If I’m cutting down my routine, I’m also reaching for the heavy hitters for moisture and age management. Plump the lines, nourish the skin and reset the skin with peptides and antioxidants while you wait for nights with more sleep. 

I’m also napping while Della naps under my Celluma Pro LED device to combat inflammation and stimulate repair under this relaxing, slightly warming device. There is a setting for wrinkles and a setting for acne. 9/10 times I’m utilizing the wrinkles setting but when I get the occasional breakout, I use the acne setting to kill the active bacteria and reduce any risk of scarring.
