“For transparency, this is what my skin looks like with no filters, no makeup after my most recent facial. It’s very subtle but (before my facial at Skintegrity) I wasn’t completely happy with the overall texture of my skin.

I’m wearing a little bit of makeup in both pictures, but you can just tell my forehead is a lot smoother now, I don’t have as much scarring or pigmentation, just an overall like lit from within glow.

I know that getting regular facials is not realistic for everybody, but I’ve been getting so many questions about my skin. And so I just wanted to be transparent and show you guys what I’ve been getting done.

I go to Skintegrity in New Jersey, and I see Kate Filiberto, who is actually the studio owner, and she’s the wife to my hair stylist of three years, who has his own hair studio next door (STANDARD HAIR STUDIO). I just think it’s the coolest thing!

So this is the room where she actually does the facial and this machine is the Holy Grail. It literally does everything except for the actual facial itself. She does a very gentle cleanse and then uses a number of products to gently hydrate and exfoliate my skin. Now this is the part where I feel like I’m in a literal spaceship, And it’s the coolest.  This machine uses oxygen, which is what you’re seeing, and also light therapy to target specific skin concerns, and then she also does micro current and ultrasound therapy, which just helps to promote healthier skin with immediate effects and no downtime, which is amazing, it really just helps to reduce inflammation and make my skin look just so much more vibrant. I just love how immediate the effects are and this is how glowy my skin is after…and that’s everything that I got done!”  -Rachel Shea
